Meanwhile, in Yemen…

While liberals are busy losing their mind over a decision which, compared to what the US has been doing for years all over the world, is relatively benign, the Navy’s SEAL Team 6 just murdered several innocent civilians in Yemen, including the 8-year daughter of Anwar al-Awlaki, a US citizen that Obama had killed by a drone in 2011. The US, but also France and the UK, has been supporting Saudi Arabia’s unconscionable war in Yemen since 2015. This didn’t generate much outrage back then among most of the people who, having recently discovered they had a conscience, are shedding crocodile tears over Trump’s executive order. (If you haven’t already, I recommend watching Chuck Schumer, who should be recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for this performance, pretending that he is moved to tears by what Trump has done.) Indeed, they often are the same people who voted to sell arms to Saudi Arabia, which are then used in Yemen. Back in September, the Senate considered, but ultimately rejected, a resolution sponsored by Rand Paul to stop a $1.15 billion arms sale to Saudi Arabia because of the human rights violations it was committing in Yemen. Guess how Graham, McCain and Schumer, those well-known humanitarians, voted on that resolution…
